Organisation

The QGIS usergroup Switzerland is an association of QGIS users in Switzerland. The user group is an association in the sense of the Swiss civil code (Zivilgesetzbuch), articles 60 to 79.

The QGIS usergroup consists of:

  • Individual (private) members
  • Collective members (local governments, companies, schools and universities)
  • honorable members

The formal entities of the user groups are

  • The general assembly (at least one annual meeting)
  • The steering committee (at the minimum the president, secretary and treasurer)
  • The controllers (accounting)

Current Steering Committee

  • President: Isabel Kiefer
  • Secretary: Adrian Weber (DÜTSCHLER+PARTNER)
  • Treasurer: Andreas Vonlaufen (Stadt Uster, Leiter GIS-Kompetenzzentrum)
  • Andreas Neumann (Amt für Geoinformation Kanton Solothurn, Projektleiter)
