QGIS-CH Mini Workshop Annotations
Annotation tools are comment, label and drawing tools that are saved directly in the QGIS project and not directly in a geodata set. QGIS offers the following annotation tools: labels, callouts, drawing tools for point symbols, lines and polygons. Annotations are drawn above all other map layers. In this workshop Nyall Dawson, the main developer behind the new generation of annotations tools, will present the possibilities around annotations.

The workshop will cover the following topics:
- Management of annotations layers (similar to layers in QGIS projects or layers in drawing applications)
- Selection, moving and deletion of annotation elements
- Drawing of polygons and lines
- Drawing of point symbols (marker)
- Label tool
- Older generation annotation tools: callouts, form annotations, HTML annotations and SVG annotations
- Layer properties and drawing effects
- Processing tool to copy annotations from one annotation layer to another
