GDAL 2.0 released

On June 18, 2015, the new version 2.0 of the format library GDAL/OGR was released. It contains numerous improvements that are in particularly interesting for Swiss QGIS/FOSSGIS users:
- Support for Curves (Circular Arcs) in OGR core
- Better handling of "NOT NULL" constraints and default values
- Improvements in the INTERLIS driver
- Improvements in the GeoPackage driver
- Improvements in the Postgis Driver
- Improvements in the GeoTIFF driver
- Improvements in the SQLite/Spatialite driver
- Improvements in the CSV driver
- Improvements in the FileGDB/OpenFileGDB driver
- Improvements in the GeoJSON driver

QGIS 2.10 will most likely not be released with GDAL/OGR 2.0 - but if you compile it yourself you can already build QGIS with GDAL 2.0 support.
